No matter what day it is or what is going on, there are always little moments in the chimp house that center you. Today’s video is a compilation of these little, precious moments. 🙂 Plus some photos, too!

We also celebrated the lovely weather today with a forage on Young’s Hill! Everyone in Jamie’s group participated and enjoyed fresh corn, mini sweet peppers, and tomatoes.

Gordo feeling better? (I hope)

Thanks Grace, That’s a fun video.
I love watching Jamie read, and little Dora is pretty cute looking at herself while she drinks :revolving_hearts:

Well that was fun! Thanks, Grace, for sharing these sweet moments of sanctuary living.
When Gordo was grooming his lip in selfie mode, it looked as if he had a pimple dead center on his inner lip. (?!) Like he was checking it out. Or perhaps he bit his lip, we all know how that can hurt. Maybe this why he wasn’t interested in eating much the other day?
And I always enjoy turning my volume up to hear the delightful sound of chimps crunching and chewing their healthy meals. Thanks for that moment!

You know, Kathleen, watching him fiddle around with his bottom lip made me wonder the same thing. Maybe he split his lip in a tussle? Or maybe he just wadged some chow biscuits too hard and he has some sort of ulcer there that is making eating painful

I first watched this video on my phone. Upon closer inspection on a big screen I can now see what I thought was a pimple appears to be a tasty little morsel Gordo is checking out and in the end he seems to finally bite down on it. So much for Dr. Kathleen’s diagnosis on a phone. I am happy to see him looking well and as handsome as ever.
