Play, Soul Sister

May 16, 2022 by Anthony 19 Comments

For today’s blog post, I’m sharing this video of Dora being casually goofy with caregiver Grace.

Enjoy!

P.S. I apologize for the title pun. I don’t even like that song.

Apologies! It was me. I was accidentally logged in as Grace so she started getting feedback on the video! 🙂

Between the sun, the music and the slow play, I ended up yawning in relaxation by the time the video was over. It’s wonderful that Grace & Dora have this quality time together. By the time it was over I was yawning & ready for a nap!

Naps are the best! I’m glad that Dora’s mellow mood is contagious! 🙂

I’d say we have the makings of another Queen on the premises! All hail Queen Dora, with style much like Cleopatra as she lounges about while her subjects entertain, jest, and toil.

Loved the quiet and simple interactions. Were you cracking up under your mask?!

“Queen Dora” has a nice ring to it. I was chuckling quite a bit.

“The chimps are often curious about the cleaning routine.” Well, now that Dora and Honey B are back to sharing living quarters, Beezie can demonstrate her scrub-brush technique that she has down to both an art and a science. Meanwhile, thank you Grace for enriching Dora’s morning.

Haha, if only Honey B could get her eight companions into the cleaning routine! 😉 Sadly, they still tend to leave things messier than they found them…

I think some of the chimps have watched cleaning enough they could do it. Guve them the tools and see what happens!:grinning:

Haha, then we caregivers can make some nests and take naps while we wait for meals to be served. 🙂

Oh, what fun! I was laughing out loud- unusual for me. Made me forget that the job you all do is more than just fun with chimps. And, Anthony, that song immediately went on repetition in my head before I saw anything else! It probably happens for me to bring up a song from anything that’s said.

What fun! Had me laughing out loud, which is unusual for me. Almost forgot for a sec that your jobs are not just playing with the chimps. Nice perk, though.
Anthony, your title had me singing the song before I saw anything else. I hope I can shut it off soon!
