March 30, 2022 by Kelsi

As you can tell from the title, there is some leeked content. I guess this kind of leekage isn’t so bad ;).

Please enjoy these photos of Cy eating a leek:

Terry really liked his leek too:

Bonus photos!

Rayne basking in the warm greenhouse sun:

Willy B staring at himself through the camera:

Oh, Kelsi, those punny boys got you, too!
    And ……
yep. Honey B’s eyes still wide open…
    Thanks, Kelsi!

Great photos! Question: Do you turn down the lights at night when the chimpanzees are sleeping?

I think they do. when there have been incidents at night, it’s been hard for them to identify the instigator through footage, so I understood that to mean it was too dark. I feel like having the lights on 24/7 is a
form of torture, would have a physical toll.
I have always been interested in whether their bedtime varies greatly between the Winter, when it gets dark early, and summer, when Jamie wants to drag race at sunset! 🙂

It happens to all of us who become acquainted with the chimpanzees and cattle of the Sanctuary. If you are like me, your love for them will only grow.

Deanna, I can only imagine how many times a week you must miss them!

Great title and lead in paragraph. Well done Kelsi, or whould I say, well pun. Sixth photo from the top, that’s my favorite. Cy sure is enjoying his fresh leeks. I’m imagining the crunching sounds as I scroll. And I always appreciate the Bonus Photos. Sweet Rayne, my boy Willy B, and Princess and the Pea Honey B. Talk about sleeping in luxurious comfort!

    Sweet cozy dreams to all.

ah. Cy is precious here with his crooked little lips. Willy B. smiling at himself. Funny.
Honey B’s face is really dark in that Beautiful deep blue blanket but yep! Her eyes are open LOL. That is just about as cozy as I have ever seen her. no furniture, no paper, just tons of super lush blankets.
I know exactly how she feels because I am all wrapped up in my lush blankets myself right now. mmmmm.

Honey B. has hands down made the comfiest bed I’ve seen any of them make so far. Ten out of ten.

Now, that could be me, all tucked in with soft fluffy blanckets all around me…..
Great photo’s Kelsie, I like you “up-close” perspective!
It made me see the difference in noses so I can beter recognise either Willy B. ( 1 line ), Rayne ( 3 lines), Cy ( 2 lines), or Lucky ( don’t know yet..).
Thank you, that is helpfull !
