Recently, due to a presumed supply chain issue, we ran out of primate chow and have been unable to order more (for the time being). Primate chow is a fortified biscuit that the chimps enjoy at the end of their breakfast and lunch meal services. It is a treasured final course for most of the chimpanzees so we needed to come up with a few temporary substitutions that would satisfy some expectant people that are HIGHLY familiar with our meal routine. Enter “Day Bags.” Day bags are similar to night bags (popcorn, peanuts and seeds -minus the dried fruit) and seem to please even the most avid chow enthusiast.

Wow, Anna, what can replace chow!? What will Bubba do!?
I’m sure Neggie’s ecstatic with the change, but I’ll bet they don’t fill the belly the same way…maybe your chickens will come in handy again…
Any idea of when the chow will come?

On Wednesday, I was shopping in Walmart for dog and cat dry foods….the shelves are really sparse….The supply lines are thin and the store management gets whatever is on the trucks that arrive at the docks…..they have no order placement options…..BUT…we have a bunch of hand wipes and lotion…to fight the covid…..!!!!!

Oh No! That supply chain better loosen up and get that chow moving in your direction soon. Luckily the Day Bags are a hit. Gordo looks as happy as a guy can be sitting in his box du jour while munching on his nuts and seeds.
Thanks for including the morning expedition. Burrito seems to be keeping a diligent eye on someone behind him but he keeps getting distracted by some itchy patches needing a good scratch. Hope the gang gave him a nice grooming afterwards.
