How lucky are we all that we have Lucky Chimpanzee in our lives now?! As Katelyn described, she is a gentle soul with an ineffable charm.
Her lunch forage, as seen in the video above, also included cherry tomatoes, of course, as we have noticed that is one of her favorite foods. We didn’t get a lot of video or photos of Lucky because she, Rayne and Dora enjoyed the party upstairs while “the boys” partied on the first floor
I love these photos that Kelsi took after the party because they are so sweet and because I know she had to go to some lengths to take the photos through the upstairs window to that playroom.
Lucky is the chimp puddle in the front of the photo below, with Terry far left, Dora far right, Cy behind Lucky, and Rayne’s foot in the right corner:

Thanks goes to Chad for the party plans, Dr. Erin for the oatmeal idea, Kelsi, Anna, J.B. and Lizz for pulling off simultaneous parties in different parts of the sanctuary, and also to Paulette once again for sponsoring Lucky’s special day.

Turning 30 sure is fun! Thanks for the party video and photos. The oatmeal cups were a fantastic idea and appeared to be a big hit with everyone. From the looks of the sleeping crew one could say the party was too much fun! I like Dora’s style of building a bolster around her nest, cozy and sung as a bug.
Burrito! No words needed. Eeesh….
Happy birthday to Lucky! I’m looking forward to getting to know this sweet girl better.

Happy birthday, Lucky! :fireworks:
The oatmeal was a big hit, sounds pretty good to me, too! And by the looks of everyone napping (another fantastic pic!), the oatmeal made for full bellies and some good  after a fun time foraging. Burrito loving his new ball – he’s awesome, as usual. And Neggie snagged some of her favorite sprouts. A big applause to all of you who tirelessly go above and beyond to make each and every day special at CSNW. Just imagine how wonderful the world would be if every person had hearts full of love and compassion like all of you.

I continue to be mesmorized by the innovative, and, playful antics of Burrito. He is some character who always makes me smile!

Mangos and oatmeal, what’s not to like!?
Bless Neggie, going for the sprouts instead of the carbs in the oatmeal….how she stays round, I’ll never know….
Thanks for a fun party, Chad, and for the pics, Kelsi!
