Annie’s 47th Birthday Party

September 10, 2021 by J.B.

Neither rain nor a brazen coconut theft could keep us from celebrating Annie’s 47th birthday. Happy Birthday to one of the sweetest chimpanzees in the world!

awesomesauce! isn’t Annie just the sweetest? So glad she didn’t have to share her coconut. Poor foxie. Someone needs to teach the lucky six how to crack Coconuts! Too funny. Thank you to all of you wonderful party planners.

What a beautiful video. The Chimps are so happy with their coconuts. I love watching them. If they had their own cable channel I would probably have it on most of the day and night. I bet everyone watching was feeling the same way I was when I saw Jody take Foxie’s coconut and Foxie was putting her hand out to get it back. I’m so glad she got it back. This was a beautiful birthday celebration for Annie and for all her friends. Happy birthday beautiful Annie you deserve happiness today and every day. Thank you to everyone who made the party possible. Love and hugs

Unfortunately for Foxie it was considerably less coconut, than when Jody stole it!

So happy that someone is.keeping dear, sweet, beautiful Annie and friends supplied with coconuts!

I love JoJo, but I think it’s time she watched your video on “Sharing”…especially Jo!
(but am also happy to hear dinosaur grunts). Good that Tiny got some coconut fats in her!
Thanks for videoc2 days in a row!

My thoughts exactly. As one of Jody’s sponsors, I feel that I bear some culpability in her pulling of rank to lay claim to Foxie’s coconut. Her impersonation of Jurassic era terrapods is lovely to hear, but I would imagine that even one’s stegasaurus nextdoor neighbor would be willing to share…at least one with manners.

Oh dear Annie. I am sorry that you had to get your feet wet on your birthday, but I am glad that you had a birthday party with coconuts and wild onions. No wonder you look so young and beautiful at your age. Happy birthday and — a full day after Rosh Hoshana — a happy new year of life to you and your beloved Missy.

I say it all the time but it still deserves repeating, Annie is so beautiful. She just is. And I swear, Annie hasn’t aged over the past ten years. What a scrumptious celebration. Foxie’s pitiful whimpering was killing me! I guess friendship goes down the drain when a fresh coconut is in hand. Thanks for the video of everyone enjoying the day. Happy 47th Dearset Annie!!!

Just wanted to add that I never get tired of seeing the Seven charging into the greenhouse to forage on a celebration day! It’s one of my all time favorite things.

Oh, Foxie that pouty face up against the cage!!!!! And I have used that superpower myself, it does work!

What a party! It’s so heartwarming to see them enjoying themselves, especially our sweet birthday girl. she’s made such wonderful progress over the years…..they all have in their own special ways….but for a lower ranking lady, it shows incredible courage. I’m still laughing my socks off at Willy B standing on his coconut as if he’s going to fly!

Again happy birthhday! what a wonderful party to celebrate with friends. i think the entertainment for your party had to be Foxie! with that poor pitiful face up in the camera’s face, we didnt know the best was yet to come! Oh Foxie! What a fine little actress you are!! I’m sure i wasnt the ony one who was laughing out loud as they watched the video. well done little one!!

(Foxie sure has gotten grey! i havent noticed it until now.)

I’ve been noticing it for about a year or so now

What a delightful video. Hands full so you use your feet to carry your loot, the sad face of Foxie when her coconut was stolen and the pathetic pleading hand reaching out to get it back; the stomping on that stubborn coconut that won’t crack open. Just loved everything about this post.
