Thank you so, so much for following this blog. It continues to be an incredibly uplifting way for us to be able to share the lives of the chimpanzees and bovines and other sanctuary goings-on with you and also to get to know some of you through this experience.
It’s very motivating for me personally to read your comments and know how much you care about everyone here at the sanctuary.
p.s. Don’t worry – you’ll be getting a real blog post from Anna later today!

I love reading about these amazing people. I live in Cle Elum and take Hwy 10 every time I go into Ellensburg and stop hoping to see them on Youngs Hill. Unfortunately I’ve only seen them a few times. But I will keep on stopping and hoping.

The blog is a high point of my day. Each of you is so faithful, taking time to share with us after a long hard day. You teach us so much – about chimps, people, caring, what sanctuary really means. The photos and videos are so impactful. By now, most of the time I can tell who’s who, even the newcomers, without looking at the caption!

I love the daily blog and don’t want to miss a single day of it! Please don’t ever stop sharing stories of life at CSNW. I look forward to reading about all the happenings at the sanctuary, whether about chimp, bovine, human, or otherwise. Thank you for all you do!

On my comment it shows 2 question marks at the end that was a heart emoji I didn’t know it wouldn’t post. Sorry about that

My day is complete only when I have absorbed the love, updates. Amazing ness and charm that each author, each chimp, each bovine and each blog comment bring to my heart.

Diana,
I did exactly as instructed — after all, that gentle but firm countenance on the face of my friend the den mother provided all the incentive that I needed. For further evidence of Jody’s finesse in corralling others into line, please refer to the blog from 2.6.2018 (“This morning, Negra seemed to be in the mood for some adventure, but Jody wasn’t so sure.”); Q.E.D.

I volunteered at the Waystation and worked on enrichment for the chimps
that you now have. I love seeing them so happy with their new home!!
Kathleen says
Lucky you Julie for playing such an important role in lives of these beautiful chimpanzees. Having this blog must help in your missing them.

My Mom moved in with us in mid-March and now she’s hooked on CSNW. We catch the blog everyday together now. And she says she now sees why I’m so in love with these Chimps and their people. And the cattle.
Jeani Goodrich says
Thank you to all. Iove reading the blog after seeing the chimps and cows. It warms my heart every time and now there are 6 more to stoke the fire! Each caregiver puts their own spin on their blog and it’s fun to try and guess who wrote it. I’m right most of the time. : ) Give all the chimps and cows my love.

I love these daily blogs! They make me happy in a world that isn’t very positive!

First of all the titles to your daily blogs make my day. But once I click to link over I find myself transcending time and place. Visiting the sanctuary via the blog is such a pleasure there are no words to describe it. I love and respect ALL of you who walk upon the beautiful land of Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest.

Yeah, this software the blog is using only processes ASCII input, so if you want a heart, use the text-based one, the less than symbol next to a three. <3
Sometimes it converts and sometimes it won't.
Cheers. 🙂

D, I also add my agreement as to how important the blog postings are. Right now I don’t always get to check it daily, but I save the links so I can catch up when I have time. I think I’ve mentioned before that I have severe panic attacks and some depression, and this helps me to calm down when I’m stressed. Heh. Last night I stayed up an hour past when I wanted to be in bed, just watching recent YT videos. I’m starting to fall in love with Cy, and Rayne is absolutely adorbs!
Y’all really are blessed to have such a faithful following of folks who would trade places with you even for 15 minutes. Thanks for including us in your world of primates. <3 I promise we'll try very hard not to fling dung on the walls, but you know how family gets sometimes. 😀
Cheers.

I especially love the information and seeing the newest chimps since I used to clean,
enrich, and entertain them in their previous lives at WW. I love seeing their silliness
and know they are still loved! Thank you!!

Reading your blog stories about all the chimp people, AND cows, is a daily highlight of mine…I have a certain habit each night of sitting down to relax about the same time every evening to check on the goings on of each day at Sanctuary, & I’m never disappointed…
I find the photography of you such admirable & loving caretakers, STUNNING, & always on par with professionals, & I find myself taking the time to study all the details of each pic so I won’t miss anything…
