Sweet Moments

March 24, 2021 by Kelsi 12 Comments

The other day I was able to capture such a tender moment between Jamie and Burrito. To witness these moments is a true honor. As we have shared in blogs before, recently Jamie and Burrito will share a barrel seat for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. On this day Jamie and Burrito shared a barrel while they groomed each other. They were perfectly situated by the playroom window so that they could have a view of the neighbors, you know, in case things went awry, but could also be relaxed enough for a grooming session. This newly blossomed friendship is so fun to watch. We all know Jamie as a serious and tough individual, but it’s nice to see her patient side, especially with a friend like Burrito.

This to me is such a power pose from Jamie. Can you feel that energy?!

This photo has a glare from the window, but I thought I would still share. Both Jamie and Burrito have their feet up, sitting on the barrel, watching the neighbors in the chute!

Who would have thought that the most serious one and the goofiest would become such friends? It’s wonderful to see….especially putting their feet up and discussing the neighbours. Such a touching video and photos….thank you so much.

I like how Burrito displays his concentration while grooming by moving his facial muscles; he’ll have the Boss ready for her Board Meeting in no time. And, once again, what entrancing eyes Jamie has…indeed, what a beguiling, beautiful face.

I L-O-V-E-D this! Just to feel as if I was that close to Jamie and look into her eyes. And I could hear Burrito’s grooming raspberry sounds in my head! Isn’t this new friendship a wonderful surprise.

That last photo is priceless. Who were they spying on in the chute? The fascination is similar to Willy B and his stories only for Jamie and Burrito they get to watch live theater!

What a treat to see Jamie’s softer side.
In the last part of the video, where she looks into the camera, I can hear her think:
‘Well, yes Kelsi, I know you are surprised, but the boy had a hard time last year and I’m starting to like him a lot..’
    Lovely that relationships evolve…

Wow… Another CSN, make your heart squeeze with emotion, posting…This flourishing friendship developing between the usually stern & bossy Jamie, & the goofiest of happy, & always up for some kind of boyish silliness, of Bubba is so much fun to watch…

I cracked up when Burrito paused for a second to pick a hair out of his mouth, & when Jamie was trying to look at the toy he was hanging onto in his left hand…

Kelsi, thanks so much for this terrific video & for starting out my day with a big BIG smile on my face…I Loved every moment…
