New Doll, Same Snow

February 18, 2021 by Kelsi

I mean wow! Foxie cannot thank you all enough for the stack of Strawberry Shortcake Dolls. She is rich in dolls! Now, she won’t get them all right away, but we did give her a new one. To say she was happy would be an understatement. She was holding her new doll close to her chest, flipping her around, and passing Strawberry Shortcake back and forth with her caregivers. It’s nice when something so simple can bring someone so much joy.

I hope everyone is staying safe and warm out there. Maybe these portraits of Foxie and Jamie can warm up your day.

Foxie is one lucky gal, look at all those dolls! Best supporters ever, and fast. Every time you mention that we should go to your Amazon Wish List, by the time I click on over most items are gone. And that’s wonderful!!

Thanks for sharing these photos of Foxie and Jamie. Jamie looks pensive in two of the images, she looks ‘Almost Human’. Oh to know the stirrings in her beautiful, intelligent head. Seeing their faces warmed up my snowy day, thank you.

I know what you mean, Kathleen! That happens to me a lot, too! This time around, I checked again a week or two after they announced it, and saw a doll for my Foxie friend on the list! What a sweet look on her face!
Now 13 people or more can say, “hey, Foxie is playing with “my” doll!”
We love to see things being used! And I still hunt for trolls when I’m off island..

(I think some of the bottom pictures might be recycled, not sure. But she looks happy there!)

Enjoy the snow! This time, we on the coast are hit a little harder

I think we all keep our eyes open for a troll dolll where ever we go!

I live in Houston and was so sad to hear what happened at the sanctuary in San Antonio. It makes me appreciate all over again the happy chimps at your place.

When I saw the doll on your Amazon Wish List, I thought maybe you would receive a lot of those, so I sent you a broom.

The picture of her holding the doll and looking at it is so sweet.

I always think Jamie looks worried but maybe it’s that brow ridge, the lines on her forehead and those haunting eyes? After all they’ve been through in their formative years, it’s no wonder, and of course, she has a VIP job to do, keeping all the others in order! When I worry about her, I go back to some of the photos where she’s almost smiling and the old video of her playing with Foxie and the wonderful laughter and the world is good again. Lovely to see that Foxie has such a lot of new dolls and I’m still laughing at Honey B…..is it a table, is it a spinning top, a carousel, or maybe a hat??? She’s a hoot!

That blog was so sweet. Foxie sure does lover her dolls. She can’t actually talk
and tell you how happy she is but she sure can show it with the way she enjoys
her dolls. Wonderful post. If you must stay inside then it is nice to have your
    dolls with you. Thank you.
