Do you ever play music for them?

      Hi Cheryl!

Occasionally they hear music in the videos we play for them but generally they seem to like the quiet.

Wow Anna, what a wonderful different perspective from this ( New? ) vieuwpoint. Did you have to climb a tall ladder for it?
And everybody seems happy and undisturbed.

It’s just a small ladder climb for short people (like me). Taken from the greenhouse window during cleaning 🙂

Foxie and Jamie, and two playing chase in the back, and poor Neggie just trying to get a nap in front of her window, couldn’t catch a break!
So good to see them playing, and knowing they have friends after so many years by themselves. Thanks, Anna!

You guys are amazing! I guess I am too old to understand why “internet trolls” would have anything terrible to say about these creatures and you wonderful caregivers. We owe these chimpanzees. I am a MD who values what these primates have done for medical research; and we need to be responsible for their care. Thank you for all you do for theses amazing chimpanzees. I go to sleep at night to a drawing that I was able to get thru your auction that Koko, the gorilla had done before she passed away.

I loved this point of view! So cool seeing everyone playing and moving about on both levels. Thanks that was cool. It was a Wrestle Breathy Pant Mania Fest!

I am going to watch it again…..

I love your videos but its nice to hear them breathe etc. The music is too loud to hear them play. Thank you for another video!

    Hi Anna,

Each time I see the chimp’s playing with this kind of carefree abandon, it just makes me smile ear-to-ear & touches my heart…

I expect all is well today among the “California Crew,” & I hope good ole, Willy B’s thieving attempt yesterday, taught him a hard earned lesson about trying to snatch food from his roomies, no matter how delicious it is…No matter how famished the the adorable rascal might be… I hope his big ole body, as well as his pride, aren’t too bruised today…BTW, seeing him tenderly grooming Honey B after the fracas yesterday, was the sweetest thing ever…Chimp behavior will NEVER stop fascinating me…

Bubba’s play face. I mean, really, who can resist?

Hearing their laughter and seeing their happy faces gives us all so much joy. I still watch an old video of Jamie and Foxie playing Steal the Troll and laughing away….magical!

Anna….lol, I can’t resist asking, since you were in “that” window …when Foxie and Jamie were playing, did you play “party police”?! 😀
