Breathe in Mave

November 4, 2020 by Kelsi

Feeling stressed or overwhelmed? Well, I would like to try this exercise with everyone. I promise I will be doing it right along with you. Let’s get started shall we! I would like you all to look deeply into Mave’s face. Really concentrate here, let everything go in your mind and stare into Mave’s eyes… While looking at Mave you might start to notice the distinct freckles on her face, the color of her eyes, and white hairs around her face. Now take a deep breath in through your nose slowly for five. One, two, three, four, five, and now hold it for a moment if you can… and now exhale slowly through your mouth for five, four, three, two, and one. Okay, do that two more times on your own. Just keep repeating this exercise as much as needed. You are welcome to find more blogs with photos and repeat this exercise.

It’s Wednesday and I think we all need it, here are a few extra photos :).

Burrito!

Jamie!

Burrito and Jamie!

Missy!

Sweet, sweet Negra.

We hope this has helped and remember to be kind to each other 🙂

That look in Mave’s eyes can calm any storm. Especially a mental health storm.

Thank you, Kelsi – it DID help. Mave has such a sweet, kind, heart-shaped face. I’ll remember to contemplate that serene visage as I breathe in and out and TRY to think positive thoughts during these fraught days. And maybe recite the Serenity Prayer frequently as well. 😉

Kelsi thank you for that reminder to take deep breaths to relieve the stress of the day if only for a little while. And those beautiful photos of Mave and all the others are appreciated anytime any day. I wish the Chimps could know how much joy they give to others. Thank you I needed that and I wish you some relaxation this evening too.

One, two, three, four, five….I’m trying to do my breathing exercise but I’m too busy smiling……yes indeedy, I do feel better! One look at Marvelous Mave and it’s like magic, I feel relaxed and I am smiling from ear to ear. And as I scroll down through the photos I keep feeling better and better. Thank you Kelsi I needed this. And thank you Mave, Burrito, Jamie, Missy, and Negra for just being exactly who you are. Now I’m off to past posts to breathe in Willy B, Honey B, Jody, Foxie, and Annie… and Betsy, Nutmeg, Meredith, Honey.
