These are scary times. But the ten chimpanzees and four bovines at Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest count on us each and every day to clean, prepare meals, create enrichment, and provide medical care, regardless of what is happening in the world outside. And we in turn count on you to help make that possible.
If you are fortunate enough to be able to continue giving to your favorite charities at this time, please consider participating in GiveBIG, Washington’s annual day of giving, and support the sanctuary by donating or creating your own fundraising page.
We are so fortunate to be able to greet the animals in our care each day and work for something we believe in with all our hearts. On behalf of the staff, the chimpanzees, and the bovines at CSNW, please know that your generosity during this time is more meaningful and more appreciated than ever.
For someone like me who has had a lifelong passion for Chimpanzees, I can’t think of a better way (as in making donations) to show my love for the 10 chimps & the beautiful cows, as well as for you dedicated caregivers…You “fill up” my heart every single day…
Debi….I really never have to write anything….all the other supporting members say exactly what I am thinking.
Knowing you have 14 beautiful beating hearts depending on you is reason enough to give. You give of yourselves every single day, unselfishly and wholeheartedly — thank you for your dedication, especially during these stressful times. I hope your GiveBIG fundraiser is a huge success.
(Loved this video. Especially Annie and her temperature taking and Jamie sipping her drink. I was also excited to see the open elevator to the Mezzanine portion of Willy B, Mave, and Honey B’s home, super cool way to travel!) xoxo
Those have to be the luckiest bovines in the whole world!
