Tami Roy brings us our second sponsorship of a day of sanctuary not only “for all the beautiful chimps”, but as the way she chose to celebrate her birthday!
This is so kind of you, Tami, thank you so much for adding to the chimpanzees’ lives by including them in your day. All of us here at CSNW hope your birthday is filled with whatever magic lifts your heart and brings joy to your life! Happy Birthday!!
I thought it would be fun to celebrate with some joy-filled, spring photos from Easter Sundays past as Easter Sunday present gets underway:

Tami, thank you, I hope you had the most eggcellent birthday!
Katelyn, thanks for the Easter past photos!
That top pic of Jo is that typical Jo “I got the best *every*thing, guys!” face. Sometimes I feel like you could do an entire calendar of just Jody pics.
Are the lilacs out yet? Just asking…you know, for a geriatric friend…
Katelyn says
Hi Linda,
That’s one of my favorite photos of Jo. She had actually stopped on her way back with her haul to give us all one of her patented “bouncy greetings” which was so utterly endearing. As pretty much everything she does is. Lilacs – every year we hold our breath watching the lilacs in hopes they will bloom in time for Mother’s Day – Jody’s unofficial birthday – and it’s usually almost to the day. The chimps love to eat them, especially, Missy, Jody and more recently, Jamie. 🙂 They’re just now starting to show leaf buds.
