The Antidote to Stress

March 7, 2020 by Diana

In these stressful and uncertain times, what you definitely need right now is to watch this video of Mave and Honey B playing. What’s your favorite part? Mine might be the big toe to the eye…

This video is a reminder of why the chimpanzees’ relationships with one another are so important and the best type of enrichment.

Lol, how was it that I knew even before watching it that it meant Honey B ‘s toe in Mave’s eye, and not the other way around!?

Yes, this was most certainly a much needed fun video to watch of these two, playful ladies today! And yes, the poke in the eye was definitely a lol! The chimp laughter was also a favorite part of the wrestling match.
I’ve been wanting to ask if there will ever be any more plans to integrate any of the chimps again…
I know you probably won’t ever allow Burrito back in with the others but I know that Jamie was getting along very well with Willy B. so I was wondering about maybe that meet and greet again?
Love to all and Think Spring!

Thank you Diana and yes I needed this!!! What a spirit lifter that was. I can hear echos of my mother saying “It’s all fun and games until someone looses and eye”.

Ouch. That toe in the eye made me cringe. Delightful video to start my day as I decide to NOT attend two functions today that I always enjoy because of fear of being in crowds.

How very fortunate we are to be privy in being able to witness such depth of gentle playfulness & friendship between these two utterly fascinating & innocent creatures …
Diana, thank you so much for the privilege of allowing us to bear witness to this emotionally charged, contented & tender exchange between Miss Mave & Honey B…It’s like I’ve been “pinged” in my heart…
