This day of sanctuary for the chimpanzees was sponsored by Margaret Coggeshall for Elizabeth Coggeshall! Elizabeth is one of our amazing volunteers who recently completed training to be a volunteer caregiver.
“A birthday gift for Elizabeth, to help the chimps she enjoys working with so much.”
Margaret, thank you so much for celebrating Elizabeth’s special day in such a generous way!
Elizabeth, we hope it’s your best birthday yet! May that big heart of yours come back to you tenfold. We’re so lucky to have you as part of our chimp family.

Happy Birthday and congrats on becoming an official CSNW volunteer caregiver! Lucky you.
I am beginning to see a pattern here with the recent Sponsor-A-Day postings. It’s the ripple effect of love for the CSNW residents and it reaches far beyond your staff, caregivers, board of directors, interns, and supporters doesn’t it? It seeps into the lives of each individual and is shared by their family and friends alike. I wonder if these silly chimpanzees (and bovines!) have any idea of the magical power they possess. They sure can cast an enchanting spell!
And the reason they can spread that love is because the staff of CSNW does such an amazing job, through amazing blog posts, videos, and photos, of making us feel like we know them as individuals…I might catch some of the events at Chimp Haven or Project Chimps, but there are so many, I’d have to make flashcards to know all of their names, not to mention their quirks, likes and dislikes! Kudos to the staff and their social media wizardry!
Adorable!! I love the socks!! I wonder what goes through their minds… whether getting dressed, playing with dolls, slinky’s, or boots. They seem so content.
Thank you for all you do.
Happy Birthday Elizabeth!! May each breath bring you cheer!
Happy birthday, congratulations, and many thanks to you, Elizabeth! I hope your birthday weekend leaves you with a humpngous play face!
