I just have to say WOW! On top of an amazing Giving Tuesday, you all also out did yourselves by buying all the blankets within an hour or two of posting the blog. We are so fortunate for such amazing supporters! I know some of you are wondering if you can send blankets, but for now I think we are all set! Check out our Amazon Wishlist for other things that need donated! Keep a close eye for our Christmas requests. And again thank you! I had created a fun video of the chimps playing, but our internet is being sooo slow today. Stay tuned for the video tomorrow! In the meantime, please enjoy the collection of photos!

Sigh…that top photograph of Burrito provides a lot of visual data on the extent of his injuries. I can only hope that he is on the mend. Of the many human caregivers who care for him and the thirteen other residents of the CSNW, I am grateful in this season of Thanksgiving not only for all that you do to provide care for these people, but in particular for Drs. Erin and Erika and the other medical professionals who are monitoring Burrito’s health and healing.

I agree….boy, there were a few spots on his face and hands! Goodness….
Kelsi says
Hi Tobin! Yes, he suffered many injury’s all over his body. Burrito is doing so much better than last week! He really is on the mend and continues to get stronger everyday. You are so right! We have so much gratitude for our amazing vets and most importantly Dr. Zamzow!

I agree wholeheartedly with Tobin. It is nice seeing Burrito enjoying his snowy treats. And I giggled over the tape still on his skin. I think he is making a serious fashion statement. Thank you for todays pics, looking forward to your video tomorrow.
Have to ask, is it starting to feel more normal now that everyone is settling in to their old groups (sans Burrito)? I hope you have all found some time to catch your breath, pat yourself on the back, and dive back in.
Kelsi says
Hi Kathleen π Yes, as Burrito improves everyday and we get back into a routine. I think all of us are able to breathe just a little bit! We so appreciate you and everyone’s support and understanding!

I guess once a Mom…always a “Mom”… No matter how old even your grownup adult “children” are…
So…….Of course I know how preposterous this sound to many of you, but how I long to kiss Burrito’s wounds & wrap my arms around him in a comforting embrace……
As usual the pics are marvelous & so much fun to keep at, & “studying”…Thank you ALL for your caring & sharing hearts…………..
Debi says
How embarrassing…I always screw up something in my comments…oops…I’m at it again…
….to “keep” looking at & study all the details

Um, you don’t have to be a mum to feel that way about Mr. Burrito-toes. <3
Arlene and Michael says
Oh yes hoping and praying that dear Burrito is healing each and every day and will soon be back with his family:) oh that beautiful sweet face!
Sherry P says
Poor Burrito – hope he’s not going to be “scarred” for life by that terrible experience. π And I hope some day J.B. or someone will feel like telling us how you managed to get the dreadfully injured little fellow out and away from the Cali-3 that night. It must have taken every bit of skill you’ve acquired in the last 10+ years.
In other news, it’s great to see the girl-gang back to their normal routines
