It is that time of year where the chimps nest in hard places to snap a good photo. But, we also have a new challenge because one of our most used camera lens has stopped working. These chimps were definitely moving around and playing, sadly the camera wouldn’t catch the moment. We have put a new lens on our Wishlist in hopes that it is not our camera and just the lens, fingers crossed! However, I hope you enjoy some photos I have saved off my phone!
Sometimes when we try to photograph the three, they get too close to actually get a photo. Mostly, Honey B and Willy B are the ones that get closer to the caging once they see you are holding the camera. They are just fascinated by phones and TVs. Here are a few attempts that turned into REAL close ups.
Honey B:
This one of Willy B just makes me smile:
I was able to snap this one of Jody today:

Thank you, Kelsi!
Yep, when you can see nose hairs, they might just be too close! 😛
It’s nice that you guys give them a cushioned “window seat” for train-watching!
But I notice none of the CA 3 seem to be into dolls! More for the Fox!

Honey B still looks oh so deadpan! She is a character, and so is Willy B. Great photos, thank you Madam Paparazzi!
Arlene and Michael says
Hi Kelsi these pictures are so cute, beautiful, wonderful. Thank you so much!!!

Just not that much different than trying to photograph KIDS! HA!
Linda C says
Kind of!
But Willy B and Jo were smiling for theirs!

You may think they were too close, Kelsi, but I actually loved the really close-up shots you took. Blurred, distance, close-up, we love anything you all send us on a daily basis.
Tobin says
Honey B is most definitely ready for her closeup!
