We recently introduced the chimps to their newest food puzzle, these giant firehose cubes! Volunteers stuffed all 6 pockets on the cubes with a variety of enrichment and hidden treats for them to find, and we put them out as part of a playroom forage. Jessica Mayhew (who wears many hats as CSNW board member/ caregiver volunteer/Central Washington University professor) had her class assemble these puzzles for us to use for many years to come. Designing these must be as much fun as working as an engineer at a toy factory! And how nice that the students can check to see how they were received!
These puzzles cubes are fabulous. Ingenious! How creative and they look like so much fun. Thank you Jessica Mayhew and students, it appears as if you successfully challenged each of the chimps, and you brought them lots of fun. So very cool!
How amazing and smart to come up with this enrichment project. The only problem they mighy expect it everyday. Atleast I would.
