Burrito’s small friend

May 27, 2019 by Anna

For the most part, the chimps (especially Jody and Foxie) destroy all their primate themed stuffed toys. However, on rare occasions, we have caught Burrito showing some interest in them. Today Burrito got his hands on a Curious George doll and took a special liking to it.

I just came across this on YouTube and thought it was an old one!
Wow, he really carried that thing around for a long time!
Did someone end up making a nest out of it?

lol, fingers crossed for George! 😀 Maybe he could wind up as a pillow, like the big stuffed elephant (she says, hopefully)

It’s curious that little George didn’t know he was supposed to ride on Papa Burrito’s back. Thank goodness George finally figured it out! Thanks for the video Anna, it will be interesting to see how long George survives but from your happy ending it looks like this could be the guy pal Burrito has been hoping for.

Great video… what a sweet relationship Burrito forged… and yes, great to see that Curious George figured out how to stay on Burrito’s back… 🙂

I think Burrito would make a great big brother! His interacting with George was so playful, he kept trying to give him a ride on his back. Very heartwarming.

Awww that is such a sweet video. Please let us know if Burrito continues to keep his friend George around. They are cute together.

Burrito’s fathering instinct is apparent with his trying to have to toy ride on his back as one would in the wild. Perhaps Burrito wants to be a Papa.

ABSOLUTELY PRECIOUS AND ADORABLE TO SEE BURRITO WEAR “CURIOUS GEORGE” ON HIS BODY, AND, THROW IT AROUND AS WELL. THE BEST PART WAS SEEING HIM WALKING WITH “GEORGE” ON HIS BACK!

I hope that, by some miracle, Burrito can keep his friend George out of the paws of Foxie, Jody, et al. What a great video, and a what a big heart dear Burrito has.
