A hodge-podge of photos of this glorious hodge-podge of a spring-winter day. Just like the first squirrel sighting of the spring above, we also had the first Negra sighting of the spring:
Tiny Annie (L) and Tiny Jamie (R):

Once everyone else came inside, Foxie decided to continue her adventure on her own, as she often does.
And as she often does, Jody, was a little concerned with Foxie being out there in the midst of spring-winter all on her own and couldn’t just leave her out there! After making several attempts of charging up the hill to retrieve Foxie (to no avail because Foxie had her adventure pants on), Jody returned to the raceway and waited patiently at the doorway for her return:
Foxie full of springtime sass as she heads over for a game of chase with her dolls and caregiver:
It’s been a day of pure joy and lightness that only comes with the beginning of spring. Foxie’s toes sum up the feeling of the day for all of the chimpanzees and humans:
While the last of the Winter’s delicacy melts away (assuming that Jody and her friends have had their fill of snow to consume until next winter), it is heartening to see the first Negra sighting of the new season! And, as expected for such a fashionista, Foxie’s adventure pants compliment her toes.
What a wonderful post! Negra looks as if she is conjuring up visions of sweet green spring hill top grass. It looks as if most of the crust topped snow is gone, right on cue. I love the profile photo of Jody, her eyelashes almost as fluffy as the thick tuft of hair at the base of her neck. (love!) Dear Jody must remember that Foxie is never alone on Young’s Hill because she always has her doll friends to accompany her.
Yes, and it was a DOUBLE doll day! Plus, adventure pants! Foxie was unstoppable! Wasn’t she one of the chimps who was hesitant to go outside at first? And Missy had to get her to go up the hill?
I,too, love seeing Negra venture outside….she may have slowed down, but she’s still going@
whoops! I see now it was a TRIPLE doll day!
What a great post and the commentary wasn’t bad either. Love the more-than-one dolls in Foxie’s mouth and twisting toes showing she is very very happy. Jody in the doorway looking worried that Foxie wasn’t coming back in shows their deep friendship and love for each other.
This joyful post doubled my spring-fever pleasure! Oh my! Thank you so much!
