Today was sponsored by Linda Jovanovich who is graciously celebrating her 65th birthday by honoring Jane Goodall and making a difference in the chimpanzees’ lives.
“I “discovered” Jane Goodall and chimpanzees when I was a 10 year old reading National Geographic cover to cover. She and the chimps she studied and continues to save are heroes in my life. Your work at the sanctuary gives me a daily view of these incredible relatives and fills me with joy and hope. Thank you!”
Linda, this is so wonderful of you! Thank you so much for your compassionate and generous heart and for choosing to share your special day with the chimps in honor of Jane Goodall! All of us here at CSNW wish you the happiest of birthdays!
Dear, sweet Annie!

Annie is just so beautiful, not only in the photographs posted here but also, as posted earlier last week, in one of the series of videos which aptly demonstrated that “adult” chimpanzees are not inclined to play with each other. That first video, of Annie and her sock-clad best friend, provides irrefutable proof that staid old ladies like Missy and Annie have long since put aside the frolics of their youth for a life of sedate dotage.
