I loved watching Negra climb up the railing with her prize. As with Jamie partaking her icicle atop her barrel, it appears that icicles are best enjoyed in higher elevations. Buon appetito!

Oh I loved this, thank you! Negra handles that looooong icicle so delicately, and I love how she places it her mouth to climb to her nest — how did not bang on the caging and break?! She’s amazing. It appears as if Jamie, ever so wise, realized that poking you could mean breaking or loosing her icicle prize. LOVED this!

Loved this video…moving the barrel, Jamie poking caretaker ever so gently as if she knew it would break the ice cycle. They amaze me on a daily basis , especially Jamie.

Had to start my day off by watching this video one more time. I forgot to mention how wonderful it was to hear Jamie give her soft-moan-grunt of contentment as she perched on her barrel. (Sigh) I am curious who bites and chews the icicles like Jamie and who chooses to lick and suck and savor? Fabulous little video!! It was great enrichment for me too.
We just had a snow and ice storm in the north east. Your video has inspired me, I may have crack off some icicles to offer to the dogs in the shelter today! ; )

Hi Kathleen! That’s my favorite Jamie vocalization. 🙂 When it comes to icicles, I think everyone’s a biter! Maybe they’re too cold to savor…
