Foxie strategy

December 21, 2018 by Anna

Foxie is an expert in Jamie behavior. She knows how to get the boss to play and let loose and she is a loyal grooming partner. Today I caught Foxie using exaggerated play behavior to diffuse tension so she could eat a few nuts that we put out for a playroom forage.

Ah, you uploaded a video while I was making dinner! So I get to have dinner with Foxie! I’ve a feeling they’d like my lemony quinoa salad, minus the chicken, of course.
Attagirl, Foxie, ah, but you’re a sly one! I wanted her to go for another!

As much as you say Foxie always instigates play with Jaime, I notice that many times (not in the above), Jaime is playing keep away with one of Foxie’s dolls….so if she takes Foxie’s doll, isn’t it in fact Jaime who’s getting the ball rolling!?

I love this one! Shows us how foxy Foxie is!

    Foxie is such a *doll* … chuckle…chuckle
    (Sorry, but I just couldn’t resist…) *: )*
This is so very, very cute…She’s such a smart “girl”…

Silly Foxie, I would never be able to ignore her spins and her knuckle knocks are pretty funny too. But it didn’t appear as if Jamie even noticed Foxie’s strategic moves. Or was Jamie playing hard to get? In the end I hope Foxie scored some nuts.

well, she scored that one as she knocked her knuckles! Sly thingllllI hope she went back to the one that she kicked with her right foot when she came out of the spin! They’re not in Jamie’s possession then, but she might be afraid that Jamie would take it from her…….the way Burrito goes around collecting the chow biscuits, and puts as many in his mouth as he can, as if to say “See, Jamie, I licked it! It’s mine, too late!”

Pay no attention to the casually spining chimp to your left 🙂 Nothing to see here.

Yes! Spoken with a sly glance over the left shoulder, to make sure that the boss isn’t looking! 😀
