Last Sunday we all changed the clocks back an hour, but the chimps have no use for telling the time (other than when their stomachs tell them it’s time to eat). Rather than changing the chimps’ schedule and routine, the humans change their own work schedule. During the winter months we start work an hour earlier and in the spring we start an hour later. This way the chimpanzees get to remain blissfully unaware of springing forward or falling back.
Jamie’s nesting schedule remains the same: whenever she feels like it!

I love that you give the chimpanzees so many cheery blankets to build such great nests
I love that they can have such warm and cozy nests
I love that rest time is any time they darn well please.

I was very curious about how the chimps would deal with the time change. Totally throws me for a loop, and my dog too! I should have known you would adjust your time to keep everything status quo for the chimpanzees. You are THE very best and you never miss a single opportunity to ensure these chimp people have the very best of everything they deserve. Thank you CSNW for being you.
And Jamie, I am so pleased that, as The Boss, you are keeping everything on a tight schedule, including nap/nesting time. Sweet warm cozy dreams to you.

I love the way that you love these creatures. the lengths that y’all go to to keep the chimps on their schedule(s). it’s just awesome. thank you for all that you do for the chimps. I am grateful to see this blog every day as well. and I thank you for the blog as well.

I have always hated “spring forward, fall back”! I may follow the Chimps lead and just leave my clocks, watches as is.
