It’s been a warm, sleepy, happy day at the sanctuary. Here are my favorite snapshots from today.
Negra waking up in the greenhouse this morning:
Boss Jamie with a rare playface:
BFFs Annie and Missy grooming:
Burrito in a quiet moment:
Foxie and Dora:
Jody enjoying some wild plants she harvested from Young’s Hill:
Looks like a perfect day to me. Especially like this photo of Jody.
I love Dora’s hair!! It always makes me laugh. I guess that is what to expect when you are carried around all day.
So chimps like those “herbs”! I would love for Jodie to come to my house in Oregon to graze on those very same interestingly foliaged herbs that have run rampant out of their appointed spot in my garden!
What a fabulous set of pictures – each one special in its own way. Thank you!
Playing catch-up since I’ve been pretty sick this month, and as everyone already knows, Burrito-toes is mah man, but oh, my gosh, did this picture of Negra catch me off guard. She just looks so innocent, almost as if she were a child again–before she went through all that pain.
It looks like the perfect pose for a painting, wouldn’t you say? 😉
Awesome, Elizabeth. Thanks for posting these.
It would make a great painting, Carla!
