Annie on Young’s Hill

March 26, 2014 by Debbie

Sometimes, Annie will sit out on Young’s Hill to just take in the view and feel the sun on her back, even if no one is sitting there with her. We used to say that Annie wouldn’t do much without Missy by her side, but that’s not how we describe Annie anymore. She is fine being on her own.

It’s only for a short while though, because of course her friend Missy will run out to play chase at full speed.

Look at the green grass coming up. I think Annie is watching the grass grow and wishing it was long enought to get a mouth full.

The love and friendship between these two gals is epic..
Annie is such a beautiful little chimp girl,
It is so wonderful to see Annie with such an abundance of confidence
as she bops around the hill, that they’ve come to love and fear it no more,
Annie life in sanctuary has truly empowered her,, its so good to see her this strong,
Her loyalty to Missy is remarkable,

Oh Annie, look at you. So peaceful, meditative, and looking full of contentment. You have been so brave to get where you are today and I am so very proud of you. The future is all yours, one day at a time. Thank you Missy for taking such good care of our best friend. Love to you both!

PS: I have to add how I always love Annie’s little “bed head” hair-do! The first photo being a perfect example. Brings a smile to my face every time I see it.

I love that, too! Jamie’s been sporting the bed-head look for a few months as well.
