The kind folks at Seattle-based Chocolate Shoebox are high on Jamie’s list these days. They recently donated several pairs of new boots via a donation drive put on by the Seattle Animal Defense League. After having them modeled for her by her caregivers, she was eager to inspect them closely and take them for a test drive.

That must have been hard to give up those really cool boots but no one deserves them more than Jamie! Does she ever wear her custom made for Jamie boots from Vegan Wares anymore? Those are probably soooo yesterday! 🙂
I haven’t seen her wearing them lately, but I did spot her nesting with them the other day.
Glad Jamie’s got several pairs of new boots. I wonder if someone would ever take the time to actually make a pair or two that would fit chimp feet perfectly… I’d do it if I had those skills, just to see how well she’d wear them. 🙂
I just sent out a big package to you guys today. It’s stuffed with handmade pillows, and there are some in the shape of hearts and stars. There’s also some crayons thrown in for Jamie’s art supplies. I hope the chimps will have a bit of fun with them.

That is very thoughful and generous of Chocolate Shoebox to send Jamie sized taler made vegan boots. Looks like they were a huge hit for Jamie.. The new boots boots cetainly filled Jamies day with fun and enrichment.
