Missy in the forest

December 18, 2011 by Debbie

Capturing Missy in a still moment was rare today on the hill—she was running everywhere! I apologize that this photo is a bit out of focus, but I really like how the forest serves as a nice backdrop.

Debbie, it is a lovely photo and I am so glad Missy is having a wonderful time. Looks like you had some lovely sunshine. Thank you.

This would be a nice comparison photo for an ad/fundraising campaign. On side of a 5×8 postcard two photos: on the left, chimpanzee cage with the caption “This?” and next to it the photo of Missy on the climbing structure with the woods in the background, with the caption “Or This?” Then on the back an appeal to donate to the sanctuary(ies) that provide alternatives for medically abused chimpanzees.

Who wouldn’t think that Missy is one of the lucky ones?!
