Jamie running

December 19, 2011 by Debbie

Missy isn’t the only one who’s getting plenty of running in on the hill. It’s so awesome seeing the chimps getting to really run a relatively long distance for perhaps the first time in their lives. They are getting so much exercise!

I imagine these cold days they need to step up the running to keep warm!!! So great that they are enjoying it.
    Thanks, Debbie.

I too , very much enjoy viewing the chimps on video. I just wish they were longer. I would love to see some videos of the chimps at bedtime, when they create thier own nests. Nesting is a very personal, and a most enjoyable time of day. Each chimp is given given many choices of nesting blankets and materials. Its just so very wonderful, and often tearjerking, to see them ENJOYING, and LIVING, a life so enriched with so many freedoms, and choices. Each chimp decides, each chimp chooses, each chimp is most revered, respected, protected, cared about, and LOVED, by staff and fellow chimps. They have so much now. Each chimp matters! It’s obvious they feel VALIDATED , LOVED and CARED about and CARED for, by wonderful ,devoted , caring people. Merry Christmas to all the Chimps and C
    aregivers at CSNW. thank you,
