Fearless Missy

October 2, 2011 by Jackie

I know we’ve said it before, but Missy has been quite a star on Young’s Hill. She’s been so confident and fearless out there! We knew she would love the Hill, but I don’t think any of us could have predicted the level of bravery she would have. I’m so proud of her! GO MISSY GO!

That’s really cute, Jackie! As someone who not only loves animals but also is very interested in psychology, it has been such a treat for me to witness the suprises on Young’s Hill. I would not have guessed Missy and Burrito would enjoy it so much, so soon and in such a courageous fashion.

Missy had inspiration from watching her care givers cavort out on the Hill! She is a plucky chimp. What wonderful photos. As always, many thanks.

I loved the photos of Missy also! I am leaving town for a few days, so this is the last blog post I will see for a bit. I am hoping the others start to come out more and there will be even more fun to be had out there. But yes, Missy … she has gumption and gusto! Three cheers!

With all the space to move in and exercise they can get now, I imagine the chimps will get in great shape!

Missy, Jackie, And Diana… the girls with GUSTO!!! what a great video. And how wonderful to see Missy enjoying herself so much. Yes, I hope Missy is an inspiration to others and they will venture out to see what Missy is doing.
    Thanks for the great video.

Go Missy Go is right! Hopefully her joyous use of Youngs Hill will encourage the others to follow. I too am interested in psychology and now I’ll go back and read Missy’s history to see if I can see those personality traits that made her the fearless leader in the wild! 🙂
