Annie had a magnificent green-filled birthday. Lots of new gifts, lots of her favorite foods and lots of love from staff, volunteers and supporters.

What was in the parfait, it was a very pretty meal? I always thought green looks good on Annie, the party looked perfect for Miss Annie, happy birthday! It isn’t a party until we hear Mr. B’s food squeak, thanks B.

There were a couple of different versions of the parfait and they were a mix of layered fruits and vegetables. Enough fruit that Foxie had two! And of course Negra’s face at the end gave evidence of the avocado / guacamole on top 🙂

I have to say, well first off, HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNIE!! Secondly, this picture of Annie with eyes downcast and what looks like a demure smile on her face as she looks into her birthday gift bag has got to be right up there as one of my favorite photos of a chimpanzee anywhere. What a sweetie. Bright blessings to you Annie.

I was remembering my favorite Annie videos photos and came across: Annie-isms, I still can’t get over her chirping and whenever I think of Annie, it’s just not Annie, but Annie and Missy. The photo I use for my work user account is the one where Annie’s tweaking Missy’s nose, I chuckle at that photo, everyday, thank you.
