BEAUTIFUL!!!! I think I like raw footage best! All the details including hugs, human protection and human tears……just like my tears as I watch this. This my dear friends is a VERY BIG deal!!

That was me sobbing on the audio, standing with Sarah who was also sobbing. J.B. and I still had mics on, so that’s why you can hear the two of us most.

Ok, I’m sniffling and wiping the tears. How beautiful it was! They all came out and got so excited! I can’t wait to see more – I’m sure you filmed for hours!!!

I wish I could have been standing next to everyone and sobbing right along with you!! I did a pretty good job all by myself though!! It was the best “happy” cry I’ve ever had!! Looking forward to many more!!

    Bless you CSNW!!!

that is wonderful footage, they all looked so excited and happy and like they didn’t know where to look first. Is that Jamie or Jody hugging Burrito at the end?

Annie is the one doing all the hugging. She hugs Missy twice near the log bridge, then she hugs Negra briefly, and then a long hug with Burrito at the end.

Thanks, JB, for telling us who was doing the hugging, sweet Annie. I loved seeing the reassuring hugs they were giving to one another. Mr. B was being very brave and i REALLY loved the long hug Annie gave him. It was more quiet than I thought, but maybe they were in shock, I know I was speechless and crying. Thanks to KOMO for posting the raw footage, it’s very much appreciated from all of us waiting to see this video.

I can barely see through my tears to type this—so touching. I bet they did look small out there. Love to all…looking forward to tonight and again tomorrow night. Many thanks

Oh yes, I was crying along with you Diana, JB, and Sarah, and everyone else online. But who can blame any of us?! It is such a wonderful sight to see, knowing how long it took the chimps to finally reach open land. I really lost it when Annie and Burrito did that long hug! You could almost hear them ” We made it! We really made it!” This will be a loving memory in my mind for a very long time.

I almost have no words. I am so filled with emotions of joy but I’m just sobbing. The hugging was so beautiful. Thank you so much for making this dream come true for them. I’m so happy for all of you and for them xoxoxo

If watching this video did not bring tears to your eyes, then something is wrong with you!! For Dave and I watching it…first streaming tears, then big sobs….so emotional!!
Can’t imagine what it must have been like for you all there to witness this walk to freedom for the chimps, in person!
You are our heros! Love to all and especially to our magnificent 7! 🙂
