I know I’ve said it before- we have some pretty amazing volunteers here at CSNW. Volunteers Katelyn and Stephanie came up with the idea to freeze juice, blueberries, and raspberries in water bottles for an afternoon forage and today was the perfect day for it. It’s been several hours since we put them out, and the chimps are still looking for bottles. Thanks for keeping everyone enriched- and cool- ladies!
You can tell they really enjoyed the frozen treats. Great idea, ladies! I love how they grabbed as many as they could and were so focused on getting the fruit and ice out. Foxie’s toes? Beautiful and graceful.
That last shot is brilliant!!
What a wonderful treat—they certainly enjoyed it!
I loved Foxie’s food noises that went along with her toe movement! That was great. And also the way Missy so delicately handled the bottle between her 2 fingers was so cute. Everyone looked like it was a great time.
Agree about the last shot with the toes. If wish my human friends were as smart as these friends of mine. 😉
I absolutely love Foxie’s toes! The frozen lollies are always a great hit with chimps. Wish I could have been there to see it.
I think your volunteers are incredibly caring, talented, clever, and remarkable people. Hats off to Katelyn and Stephanie.
While this is very true of the volunteers and staff at CSNW, it is somewhat biased in my case as this lovely comment comes from my sister. 😉 But thank you, Sister. xx
