Another use for butcher paper

August 22, 2011 by Debbie

Butcher paper is not just for arts and crafts. Jamie and Jody find it very nest-worthy. They both had nests that resembled paper mountains!

As I shifted the chimpanzees from the front rooms to the playroom, Jody grabbed this heaping pile of paper to use for later in the day.

We’re going to need more paper!
I find it so interesting how a nest is made and remade before it is nap worthy.

Is that the last of the paper? Even though I don’t work there anymore, I’m sure I can still get my now former boss to keep supplying it.

I love the way the girls take such care, handling the paper and arranging it–they are so deliberate. Thanks for a charming video.

I love watching them build nests. They are so deliberate and just like us with our beds it has to be just right. Such concentration!
