In memory of Treyson

April 22, 2011 by Jackie

Today’s sponsor-a-day is from Lisa Siegfried in memory of Treyson. Sponsoring a day is such a wonderful way to both remember someone and to celebrate the Cle Elum Seven at the same time. So, on behalf of comfy Negra (below) and the entire CSNW team, thanks so much, Lisa.

From Karen: Since I am no longer strong enough to volunteer at the Chimp House, I really am SO grateful for the fabulous presentations on the blog. I miss in person contact with the chimps enormously. Seeing them experiencing moments of sheer estacy makes me feel ecstatic. Daily knowing that they are living in sanctuary fills my heart with gratitude for all of the people who have made and continue to make this possible Knowing that so many humans commit horific atrosities against non-human creatures makes me exceedingly grateful for the compassionate few who live the value of respecting and protecting our non-human co-inhabitors of this planet. How precious are those who devote their lives to sanctuary work. I am deeply grateful to you. The blogs are so beautifully done both in terms of their photos and the articulate/descriptive written details that accompany them. Gratefully yours, Karen

Neggie, you are such a beautiful girl. To watch you relax in the sun or play makes my heart smile. I can’t wait to see you and your beautiful family on Young’s Hill.
