Troll stealing

November 17, 2010 by J.B.

Jamie started a great game of “steal the troll” with Foxie this morning. There were multiple trolls involved and they changed hands several times. Foxie used every trick in her book – strategic tickling, biting, wrestling, surprise tackling, spinning, and somersaulting – and eventually got her trolls back.

It was all playful, Marie, but chimps do play rough at times!

This is a wonderful longer than usual video. THANKS. It was wonderful to see the game’s progression. Seeing Foxie so close to Jamie really shows how tiny she is. What a fun game they seemed to have. 🙂

Oh my goodness….I could (and have) watch this over and over!!! Love the laughter and that crafty Jamie who manages to hold a boot in her hip pocket most of the time! I imagine no one tries to steal away her boots!

Loved it! After watching more than once, I can now head off to bed with dreams of chimp laughter!

Julie, I saw the boot, too, and marveled at how she kept it in her hip pocket. I loved the “loud” laughing and, especially, Foxie jumping on Jamie’s back. I’m always impressed with Jamie’s awareness of Foxie’s love of troll dolls.

I received my Humane Society of U.S. newsletter, today, and learned that our Jody has been made “Chimpanzee of the Month,” way to go Jody.

Trolls and boots, laughs and grunts, flips and spins, tickling and biting, OH MY! This one had it all. I doubt any of us could be as agile as these two are when they play. I too loved how Foxie made a run for it when she got the prize. Smart girl!
