Annie's waist warmer

Annie’s waist warmer

April 30, 2010 by Jackie

Last Saturday, while playing with Missy, Annie put a bright pink fleece head warmer around her neck and wore it like that for 2 days. On Monday, her “neck warmer” became a “waist warmer”. It is now day 5 of waist warming! Pretty fashion-forward!

I saw this today while I was cooking the Seven’s dinner. Pretty cute!

Living with Jamie you can’t help but pick up a few fashion tips, way to go Annie! The first picture looks like Annie’s bottom lip was droopy today, nice and relaxed. Hey, Margaret and Karen what did you all fix them for dinner?

Scrambled tofu with spring onions, tomatoes and asparagus all loaded into pita bread pockets. Also orange wedges and apple slices. It was a success except for Annie who did not care for the asparagus. Negra loved the pita….she always love bread. 🙂

Glad to know about the asparagus….won’t bring that for meals in the future!

So Jackie….what if Annie decides to not take it off??

Thanks, Margaret and Karen, I bet it’s fun cooking for the “7”. Julie, I was wondering if Annie will sleep in her neck warmer/waist warmer? It looked like a beautiful day in Cle Elum today.

Julie, the most wonderful thing about CSNW is that the chimps have choices. If Annie decides not to take it off, it’s her decision. That’s what I love…they finally get to choose what to do for the first time in their lives.

Is it just me or does Annie look a little like a Samurai warrior in her waist warmer? 😉

She DOES look like a Samurai! 🙂 And, by day 3, I was fairly certain she had forgotten about the waist warmer…. it had just become a part of her… until Friday, when, about the moment I realized she had taken it off, she was putting it right back on. She seems to just love it!
