Sun!

February 9, 2010 by J.B.

The chimps were outside bright and early this morning to welcome the return of the sun to Central Washington.

The greenhouse looks great, J.B. I imagine the chimps have all been inspecting the new panels.

It does look great, J.B. It’s obvious the chimps enjoyed being outside in the sunshine. Isn’t it odd how the sun can brighten your mood when it’s been gloomy for so long?

To all of the caregivers and volunteers at CSNW………………thank you all so much for giving our chimps such a great home. This new greenhouse area is awesome. Can’t wait to see them all swinging from the rafters while a warm summer breeze blows thru the place!!

Yes, best greenhouse ever!!! What a masterpiece, it is obvious that they are enjoying it immensely. Also, what a wonderful video! There are so many different interactions to enjoy, that I had to watch it multiple times to catch everything. My favorite part is sweet, round (ahem) Negra slooooowly and carefully navigating her way to the platform and the surprise “swoop-in” grooming she got as a reward! Negra is such a beautiful girl.

Can I just quote Felicity? She said everything I was thinking. 🙂 This is such a happy development for the chimps!
