Morning Yoga, Troll Games

February 6, 2009 by J.B.

You never know what you are going to find when you greet the chimps in the morning. For example, you might find Jamie upside down, acting as if its totally normal to begin the day upside down.

Today was a beautiful day for early February so we served lunch outside. Afterwards, Foxie climbed to the top of the enclosure to where she could throw her trolls down to us.

LOL…It sure doesn’t look comfortable to me but I’m not a chimp. Jamie sure looks like she is comfy. I love the way Foxie plays trolls with you all. To her, those are her babies. She trusts you all with the things she loves most. What an incredible gift!

Hey, I need to have Jamie teach me how to do that! I’m taking pilates and that is a pilates move that I am trying to master. 🙂 (I am not even close yet). Thank you for the great video & the wonderful pictures of Foxie’s hand throwing her troll. I’m so glad you’re having some nice weather so the Cle Elum 7 can enjoy playing outside!!

Looks like a great ham string stretch…………….

The Red Wing Blackbirds are back, the Geese are on the Lake, I even saw Robins and Grossbeaks this morning, I’m hoping they are telling us here in the upper county, “Spring is on the way”.

It’s pretty much the “plow pose,” right? I think I’ll have to practice. Maybe the soccer ball helps.

Do you have to cut their fingernails? I’ve never noticed them before, but on Jamie the length is quite obvious.

I love how Jamie crosses her legs and just hangs. just chillin’ upside down.

And Foxie playing the drop her trolls game takes me back to when my son was a toddler and he liked nothing better than to drop his toys and have me pick them up…..over and over again.

I love checking in on the gang every day. Thanks for taking the time to chronicle thier lives for us.

Here’s a new marketing idea: a yoga dvd taught by Jamie!

    Hi Annie,

We don’t cut their fingernails. Some of the chimps bite their nails, and others let them grow long and let them break off or wear down.
