This was a Valentine’s card we received from W.I.G.T. printing today! The calling cards that they printed for us (from a design by our volunteer graphic designer Kim) are really great. So great, that I want all of you to have a chance to get some to pass around. They are smaller than a business card, and perfect for giving to people that you talk to about the Cle Elum Seven or leaving in little stacks at friendly businesses. I’ll make them available through our online store soon.

WOW!!! These are WONDERFUL!! That is so great of W.I.G.T. Printing to print these up for CSNW. They are beautifully done! I definitely want to get some to hand out to people I talk to! I am always talking about the CE7 at work, and I have handed out all the pamphlets I had. I LOVE these!!! Thank you!! 🙂
Very exciting….I love these cards…everyone at my work has pictures of the chimps I have printed, these would be great..I for sure will order some!
Last week I had to go to the emergency room for a pulled rib muscle and while I was waiting I was reading about chimpanzees. When the doctor came in he asked what I was reading and I started telling him about CSNW and lab chimps. He then began to tell me about his father who owned a chimp as a pet in California, which they could no longer keep because of his strength. As we continued talking a nurse walked by and heard me mention chimpanzees, she stopped, turned around and said she loved chimpanzees. I had typed up my own chimpanzee sanctuaries information card and gave one to the doctor and nurse. It goes to show you never know when you can pass on information about our chimpanzees.
These cards are great, there’s nothing like a “before and after” picture, these two pictures say it all. I’m in.

What a thoughtful way to help the chimps. Way to go WIGT! Those cards will be so helpful. I talk about the chimps on a daily basis and am always telling folks the website but with the cards it will give them a wonderful visual that will be hard to pass up. Thank you. Terrific idea of the cards! I have been thinking for awhile how to spread the word. I had thought how great it would be to put a small card in my bills (and lord knows I have enough of them) to let people all over the country know about the plight of chimps. I also think it would be great to have a card that asks people to support the Great Ape Protection Act which is being re introduced by contacting their representative and requesting they co sponsor the bill. One cannot possibly think using chimps in research is ethical or moral after seeing pictures of the before and after of the chimps or reading their stories and the changes in their personalities.
I’ll be looking forward to these being available for purchase.
I forgot to say that I think Burrito is a great centerfold in this picture. He is so macho!!! You go Burrito!
What perfect timing! In a staff meeting today, I chose to speak about CSNW and the amazing things they are doing for our chimps! (We had to talk about something non-work related that we were proud of. In my case it was my association with CSNW).
Now I can’t wait to pass out the cards!! Sign me up!! I’m definitely
onboard the train!!

I recently saw a bumper sticker on a car for a gorilla sanctuary. How about making bumper stickers for the chimp sanctuary. We can all be moving billboards.
What a terrific idea!!! My mind is racing thinking of all the places I’ll be posting them. Besides at work, I’ll be taking them to my dogs Vet’s Office. Lots and lots of animal lovers there.
