Sorry we haven’t posted in a little while! Things are hectic, in a good holiday kind of way. We’ve been working on getting all of your donation thank-you cards, new chimp pal packages and merchandise orders out in time for your holiday celebrations. Having this kind of work is so fun and gratifying. I can’t believe everyone’s generosity, and it’s so neat to see people come together in support of the Cle Elum Seven!
I do have a video to share with you all. I will upload it by tomorrow at noon – how’s that for giving myself a deadline 🙂 — it’s a really sweet video.
More soon!

Diana want you to know that everyone appreciates the blogging, photos and videos that you all do. Out of all the other chimp sanctuaries CSNW is the only one that blog daily. I love it, I know what goes on, where donations go to, etc., it makes me feel a part of your family. When I come home from work the first thing I do is come straight to my computer and check your blog because I can’t wait to see what happened today. I can only imagine how busy CSNW is right now, I have to admit it was a pleasant surprise when I received a thank you note. It shows you care about us.
I didn’t become aware of abused chimpanzees until I began watching “Chimp Eden” and saw how Cozy didn’t know how to climb a tree and was terrified of it. I was flabbergasted because you automatically think chimps should know how to climb a tree. I began to research and came across lab chimps and my heart broke. I bought the DVD “Chimps — An Unnatural History” and I cry when I watch it and it is forever ingrained in my mind. I will always contribute, not to just CSNW, but I’ve adopted two others at other sanctuaries. I love shopping for the chimps and when I check out with the goodies I always bring up who I’m buying for. I give out little cards with sanctuaries web addresses and when I was at the grocery store the other day I passed on the information to two employees there. As the saying goes “pass it forward” and that’s what you and everyone involved with CSNW do.
CSNW employees, caregivers, volunteers and the chimps are well-loved and appreciated.
Sorry, I’m pontificating but I have powerful feelings about this subject and CSNW.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO EVERYONE.

Hey Diana! Thanks so much for writing us a note, that was very thoughtful of you 🙂 This is SUCH a crazy busy time and my gosh as much as we love all of the chimps and each and every photo and video – we love you guys, too, and want to be supportive when you need a little break in the action. When you feel that “pressure energy” – knowing that bloggers are all holding their breath until the next post……..know that the core of that energy is pure love for the chimps and everyone of you caregivers 🙂

Diana,
How thoughtful of you to post a message just to tell us a video is coming! As much fun as it is and as much as I look forward to seeing the blogs, I remind myself that your first priority is the chimp people and we just need to wait. I know you will post as you can and it makes each post that much sweeter. I envy you this time of the year as you get to send out orders, packages, and cards to help spread the message about our family and those we want to be in our family or another sanctuary, as well as laugh with the chimps and their antics.
Merry Christmas to all involved, caregivers, bloggers, volunteers, and chimps!

I bet you, Diana, JB, Sarah and Keith feel like Santa Clause this year to Annie, Burrito, Foxie, Jamie, Jody, Negra and Missy…..I know you are panning a very special Christmas there at the Sanctuary and are so busy getting all the this and that’s together. Tanks you for the quick post and next week will be so exciting to see them with all the gifts, food, peace, love and joy! Will be talking to you soon! Stay warm as you can as yes Shelly K…prayers go out to all the animals the ones especially with uncaring owners! When I lived in So Dakota and Winter hit and I would see dogs outside in this weather it would get my blood boiling! My babies are all tucked in their warm beds!

Diana do you have a good juicemaker at the sanctuary?

Diana,
Ditto to everything everyone has posted. That you do SO much for our beloved Chimp pals yet STILL find the time to send out handwritten thank-you cards just blows my mind. It means so much to us all and know that we are so touched by your thoughtfulness to each of us!
I have just LOVED the last few posts- they are AMAZING!
Love,
Courtney
