Foxie and Diana playing chase

June 24, 2008 by J.B.

Already, we are seeing big differences in the chimpanzees’ personalities. Until now, Foxie had been fairly quiet and reserved. But today, she surprised us by playing a full-fledged game of chase. It is possible that this is the farthest she’s been able to run in her entire life. J.B.

JB ~ with all the INCREDIBLE work that the whole team has done to bring the chimps to the sanctuary….I still can’t help but long for the day that they can “run flat out” and climb outside. Just brought that to mind again when you wrote that it’s possible that this is the farthest she’s been able to run in her entire life. Just kills me. Thanks so much for all the new photo’s, videos and details about thier personalities and the “happenings” at the Sanctuary.
