Pinecones

Brief description: Pinecones can become a natural food puzzle

Materials: Fresh or dried pinecones. Be careful, many types of cones have sharp barbs at the ends.

Assembly instructions: Remove barbs before using

How to use: These can be a bit time consuming if you have to remove the barbs. Treats like raisins and shelled almonds can be placed towards the center of the cone. Sticky smears like peanut butter can be smeared on the outside.

Price: No cost if gathered naturally

Annie licks the peanut butter off of her pinecone.
