The Case of the Not-So-Mysterious Footprints

July 6, 2026 by J.B. 4 Comments

Ringleader Betsy has Houdini’d her way out of her pastures a couple times over the years, though it seems this time we may have just left the gate incompletely latched. In any case, the grass is always greener on the other side, as they say, so the gang took the liberty of exploring some of the sanctuary’s 113 acres. Thankfully, they were happy to go back home without needing to be bribed…too much.

Poor Mer had to make that climb again, after they explored the sanctuary….

    incowgnito!

Funny that I see this message just now, when I was looking at a page called Kirby’s Cravings, where they have a chocolate cake made out of dark chocolate and cherries, nothing else. (no milk, no oil, no sugar, no eggs).

George, one of the many Cow Police, eye deep in the tall grass on a stakeout! When in doubt, ask the chimps. They always know what’s going on.

I thought of Meredith’s arthritis as the girls trudged up the hill. Busted. Funny how the escape is always a quick thrill but if caught, the hump back home isn’t so much fun.

The girls just wanted to go on an exploratory walkabout. Mystery solved. Thank goodness it wasn’t a serious Honey B caper.
