Honey B, you shoukd watch a video of George enjoying his pasta. He did NOT drop half of it off the plate and on to the floor. Remember thst for the next party.
He certainly did savor every bit. I was wondering if this is not the first time he has had spaghetti.
But then, he has the luxury of being able to eat slowly, because he’s not competing with anyone else for the extra plate
George relishes every new experience. He was savoring each slowly slurped bite! (Quite the contrast from our crazy birthday girl who was inhaling her pasta in record time.) I love George’s excited finger poke when you present something new to him.
Everyone loves pasta but Gordo really favored the non-dairy decaf Frappuccinos! He even passed on a plate full of spaghetti and chose a Frappuccino instead. It’s fun to see what each chimp likes and how they eat it, like Rayne making a wadge out her spaghetti. And Missy, still the cutest most compact little bod ever, sitting quietly enjoying her two pasta plates.
Not sure you’ll have time to clean up from these festivities so you can get ready for tomorrow’s big celebration! Party! Party! Party! Let the food fun continue!! Thanks for all the extra efforts. Definitely enjoyed by us almost as much as the chimps!
I couldn’t figure out if they were all drinking coffee frapps or just Honey Bs small group. They normally all go for the drinks, that’s a special treat. But I was astounded to see that many of them interested in coffee!
And I had forgotten all about the rest of this weekend coming up! Thanks for the reminder! A busy time around here at the moment, lots going on.
What a celebration for Honey B’s pasta birthday party! All the chimpanzees looked so joyful and appreciative. CSNW is thee best, from the staffs heartfelt efforts celebrating important days to community involvement/awareness and the truly loving care given to all the animals at the sanctuary. Following George’s rescue is what led me to your website/blogs/pictures. Thank you for ALL you do.
Isn’t it just the.greatest place?
I LOVE watching them all and their each individual personalities! I HOPE George will be introduced to a group SOON!! He seems to be a little bit leary that something or someone is going to come behind him. I like how he responded to your? of if he wanted the food. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU, EACH AND EVERYONE FOR ANY PART YOU PLAY FOR THESE BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL ANIMALS!!
Oh, sweet Georgie Brown, you’ve discovered that yellow peppers are okay when they are mixed with pasta! And I think I see a nest over your shoulder! I hope you enjoyed your first party, George! More to come! Plenty more!
