A Boy and His Ball (and Hammer)

November 29, 2024 by Krissy Brasfield

After a raucous Thanksgiving celebration yesterday, which included lots of fun and lots of food, most of the chimpanzees are laying low (I think many of our followers in the U.S. can relate, am I right?).

Burrito isn’t generally one to “lay low”, but today he did most of his playing on his back!  It’s always a pleasure to watch Burrito entertain himself 🙂

Those balls and neoprene toys were such a great idea for him!

Does he still have the larger one to bounce on?

The Jolly company must have asked Burrito to product test that ball for lower back exercises. And he came through for them. He really is a ‘jolly ball’ of energy and joy.

Sweet Burrito, you are so much fun to watch.

Burrito is non stop even when he’s in relax mode! He never does the same moves twice. No repeats! He’s always thinking up new ways to interact with his ball. When Burrito tossed the ball high in the air and caught it with his feet I couldn’t stop laughing. I actually rewatched this video in slow motion just to catch all his maneuvers—worth it! Krissy, how do you focus on work when you have this guy around?!

Burrito definitely knows how to entertain himself! I love his breathy laughter, even he cracks himself up!

Isn’t he marvellous! Not even a Thanksgiving dinner can slow him down!

Burrito, you’re a joy to watch! I couldn’t stop laughing. He’s a bundle of joy, energy, entertainment and keeps you guessing about his next move! I love him! Thank you for sharing this awesome video, I’ve got to watch it again!

I CONTINUE TO BE FASCINATED BY BURRITO’S ENGAGEMENT WITH, ENRICHMENT, ITEMS AND HIS CREATIVITY! HE HAS A PENCHANT FOR HOLDING THINGS IN IN HIS MOUTH WHICH I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW HOW IT HAPPENED, AND, WHY. WHAT A TRAGEDY THAT HE WAS DEPRIVED OF THIS NEED TO ENTERTAIN HIMSELF.
