A Gift from our First Responders

July 10, 2024 by Kelsi

Last week our local fire department came to visit the chimps! Theses firefighters must know the way to Jamie and Foxie’s heart, because they came bearing gifts of boots and troll dolls! We are so appreciative of our first responders, not only for the work they do but also for taking the time to learn about the chimps that we so love! As you will see in the video, Foxie approved of them and the troll dolls!

Foxie’s new dolls:

Look at those TOES!

Bonus photo of little Honey B:

What a beautiful photograph of Ms. Beans, placidly conjuring mischief. I hope that she can see how she looks.

Aw, that was nice of the guys!
    They must know!
I was going to say that I hope they see the light they brought into The Tiny Oje’s day, but something tells me they will.
Thanks, guys! Have a quiet week!

How nice of the first responders to come bearing gifts. I am always happy to see pictures of Honey B, she looks so sweet and innocent…I wonder what’s up.

Well that’s just about the coolest thing I’ve heard in ages! You have THE best first responders! I remember when they visited and made Jamie an honorary first responder. Wonderful to be surrounded by a caring community.

Foxie looks positively floofy in that last photo. I love that image. And her video too! Did Honey have the opportunity to meet with the guests? I bet she was curious. She’s probably laying there thinking of 101 uses for fire hose.!

Fire brigade, a huge applause to you for being so thoughtful and generous!:monkey_face::two_hearts:You made Foxie’s day for sure!

Wow! That was so cool of them to come with gifts, too! They haven’t forgotten Jamie’s position as an honorary member of their department!
Is there anything cuter than Foxie with a new dollie! I love seeing her with her teeny tiny trolls! I assume Jamie was also quite thrilled with her new boots, too.
Honey B definitely looks like she’s up to something. Scheming ways to get ahold of all of those cool firefighter tools, I assume!

What wonderful guys to think of the chimps like that. I always wonder how Foxie manages to keep her babies on her back …..do you find her ‘lost’ ones out on the hill sometimes?

I believe they do, we’ve seen either photos or videos in the past
