The Simple Joys of a Rainbow Headband

July 11, 2024 by Anna

As “usual” Honey B declined to shift out of the Front Rooms yesterday so we could clean them all at once (which is much more efficient). She also had an accomplice in her friend Dora. As you can see, the girls made the best of their one-on-one time.

Today’s video made me laugh out loud! Even though the girls are on the “older” side, they still have a great time at play! It’s wonderful to see them at ease and enjoying their life.

I love the naughty side of these two! There’s not much fun in breaking the rules alone. Trouble is best enjoyed with a sidekick. (Speaking from experience here!) And Olivia Newton John was totally missing out on all the things you can do with a headband. Thanks for capturing the laughter, friendship, and yes, simple joy shared between these two friends.

Kathleen, Olivia may have missed out, but Cyndi Lauper sang “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.” And, these two sure did.

    Thanks, Anna!
I rhink I see why Cy’s pages have to be tossed at the end of the day! 🙂

What a hoot watching those two sassy dames and with a simple headband! Mind you a frightening thought occurred to me about a “choking/strangulation hazard” with that band. I know you have cctv at the sanctuary but I just wondered if sometimes those types of enrichments could be dangerous? Sorry to throw a damper on such innocent delightful fun.

So much fun! Reminds me of when I would play ‘Chinese’ jump rope with friends when I was a girl, minus the wrestling!
