Teeny Tiny Terry

February 7, 2023 by Chad de Bree

Teeny Tiny Terry sits on a teeny tiny block,

Blowing raspberries at caregivers all around the clock.

Teeny Tiny Terry is goofy with his teeny tiny friends,

Hoping that his play sessions will never come to an end.

Teeny Tiny Terry and his teeny tiny tongue,

Greets every caregivers’ hand with nothing but love.

Teeny Tiny Terry loves eating his teeny tiny food,

Making sure everything in his mouth is evenly chewed.

Teeny Tiny Terry lets out a teeny tiny hoot,

Making everyone else follow in suit.

Teeny Tiny Terry and his teeny tiny toes,

Gets caregivers’ attention for drinks from the hose.

Teeny Tiny Terry has captured all of our teeny tiny hearts,

No one could ever imagine a life being too far apart.

3: Terry sticks his tongue out to greet caregivers in the morning.

4: Terry eats his chow biscuits during lunch.

5: Terry begins hooting as the others are doing as well.

6: Terry loves receiving drinks from hoses!

Teeny Tiny Terry is quite the ladies’ man
planting grooming kisses, as often as he can.

Teeny Tiny Terry summons forth a Bronx cheer,
As if to announce, “This is the Yankees’ year!”

Teeny Tiny Terry, for Cy he saved the day
and ripped up magazines where cows were on display.

Teeny Tiny Terry, it’s no exaggeration,
The freckles on his face comprise a constellation.

Tobin, your posting is just delightful and really made me chuckle (which I very much needed in that moment!). Thanks for sharing your creativity and heartfelt observations of Terry.

Very clever Blog. i forgot how many male chimps are living at the Sanctuary? Is Terry small for a male? Thanks for your cute phots and prose.

I feel like he’s not that small
4 males this side, Burrito the lone male on the other side

Snubs and good riddance to anthropocentric contemporary American pop culture (sponsored by Pfyzer!), says I: Today’s blog is both funny and endearing (if not, perhaps, entirely accurate: somehow, I find it hard to think of someone with seven times the strength of the average human primate as being “teeny, tiny”, least of all our Terry). This is the best laugh that I have had all year. Thank you, Chad, and thank you Terry for not being in the least bit teeny or tiny in your irresistable charm!

    Hey, Terry! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Except I don’t believe you guys have teeny tiny hearts at all. Quite the contrary.

    Thank you Chad.
I love Teeny, Tiny, Terry !
Can we make this into a childrens book, and then auction it off for millions at the next Hoot?:revolving_hearts:

Any blog featuring Terry is a “keeper”!

Very fun posting! I wasn’t aware that Terry is “teeny tiny” in comparison w/ the other males &/or females? Especially since I think of him chasing Dora around in amorous pursuit! Great pics of him, many thanks!
