Today I revisited Diana’s Inviting your questions blog to look for some inspiration for my post. Tami asked which chimp is the class clown, most congenial, most beautiful/handsome, and most quiet? This reminded me of those awkward yet entertaining yearbook surveys where students get to vote for class superlatives. I’ve taken it upon myself to nominate each of the 10 chimpanzees for their own superlative. Dissent is encouraged in the comments section 😜
Let’s start this off with a pretty easy one. Most Athletic has got to go to Missy Chimpanzee, the runner:
Class Clown? Gotta be this guy, Burrito:
Miss Congeniality would probably go to the amiable Mave:
For Most Helpful, I nominate Jody Chimpanzee for her caring den mother personality:
There is no contest for Most Relaxed. Negra wins in a landslide:
Most Loyal might go to Annie (right), for her staunch devotion to her BFF Missy:
Here’s a contentious one… I nominate Willy B for Most Handsome, based primarily on how he makes the female chimpanzees virtually swoon with excitement when they get a proper look at him (like I said before, post your objections in the comments):
Quirkiest Personality goes to the always unique Honey B:
And Most Likely to Brighten up your Day seems to be the right fit for the fierce and eccentric Foxie:
Oh yes and Jamie wins Most Likely to be your Boss of course:

I find nothing to argue with on any of these!
Except, perhaps, the omission of “most photogenic “, which has got to be Jo. (I notice you diplomatically left out “most beautiful ” 😉 )
In fact, I suggested another game for the readers a while back, and repeat it here. Try and stump us with: ” most likely to”‘s….like “most likely to spit water on a caregiver ” or “most likely to be the first to greet you in the am”, etc-things we might now know. It’ll be fun! I’ll bet there’s more than one blog there!

I agree with all of the above. They’re all so very special in their individual ways. I’m reminded of my favorite video of all time. The one where Burrito was eating spaghetti (I believe it was shortly after he arrived). It’s just the best.
Anna, you nailed it. A perfect 10. And no disagreement from me, I’m all IN with Willy B being Most Handsome. Along with being the Class Clown, Burrito is also Most Adorable! Well done, thanks for the chuckle.
I’d like to give an honorary “Most Likely to Succeed” to Willy B. The courage he found within himself to brave the courtyard, alone(!), was just breathtaking. I greatly admire his ingenuity in using the tub as a “boat” to experience the ground in a way that felt comfortable to him. I have no doubt that he’ll inspire success in others.

we loved this and played a game to guess who was each one.my daughter (8) loves Burrito and nominates him for everything!
I agree with Burrito. He makes me laugh every time you show pictures or videos of him. I love the videos of all the specials chimps, but he cracks me up, along with the lovable Foxie. I melt when I see her with her dolls.
